Face of the day: coral eyes

Hello Gitterjunkies!

Yesterday I was playing around with some makeup and I really liked the final result, so I thought it would be perfect to make it into a FOTD.

This is the look I created. It's a soft, fresh daytime look and I'm in love with it!

These are all the products and brushes I used.

I started off with the dream nude airfoam foundation by Maybelline in 005, Light Beige.

For concealer I used the camouflage cream by Catrice in Ivory. I also used my made to stay highlighter pen to highlight my undereye area. I applied this also on the bridge of my nose and as a browbone highlight.

For blush I used this really pretty pink mousse blusher by Catrcie in Holi Hai (this is from a limited collection).

My cheeck highlight was the very pretty Prime and Fine one in 010 Fairy Dust by Catrice (again..)

Look how pretty my cheek glows!

As a setting powder in used an Essence powder in 04 Perfect Beige (I don't know the exact name of the powder since I lost the lid, as you can see)

Time for EYES!

First of all I applied an eyeshadow primer. I used the I <3 stage one by Essence. Than I used a loose pigment in CO3 Salsa Cubana by Catrice (also limited). This is a very beautiful orange/coral colour. To soften the look up a bit I used a brown in the crease. This was an absolute eye colour by Catrice in 080 Go, Charlie Brown! I tightlined my eyes with a black shadow. This one is by miss Helen in 04. But you could literally use any black shadow.

I curled my lashes and coated them generously with my Dior Iconic Overcurl mascara in 090 Black.

I used a very thin layer of an Essence lipgloss om my lips in 01 Queen of my cloud castle. (again Limited edition)

I hope you liked this post!
Do you play around with makeup a lot?

Love
Sophie
