Hello glitterjunkies!
If you read my last post about my New Years Resolutions, you'll know that I have said goodbye to makeupwipes for good. I've been on and off with finding the right products that work for my skin, but I finally found a makeup removing routine that works well for me. I have been using these products for the last few months of 2013 and they do wonders for my skin.
So let's talk makeup removing shall we?
these are all products I use almost on a daily base.
First of all I start with pure coconut oil to remove all my eye makeup and the most of my face makeup. I just take a little bit in my hands, because of the warmth of my hands it than melts, so it's easily applied all over my face. I love this because it removes even waterproof makeup, the only thing that I don't really like is the fact that it leaves my skin rather greasy after I used it.
After that I cleanse my skin with the Angels on bare skin cleanser by Lush.
I just take a little blob out of the container and mix it with water so it becomes more fluid, after that I just massage it all over my face, staying away from my eye area.
As you can see, it has lavender in it, which exfoliates just a little bit. It's nothing too harsh since I can definitely use it everyday. I love this cleanser because it leaves my skin feeling very soft and I feel like it sort of helps with the redness on my cheeks. Also this removes any greasyness from the coconut oil that I used before.
Once to twice a week I than use this deepcleansing gel from Nivea. This can be used in different ways, as a cleanser and as a mask. I usually use this as a mask in the shower. I apply it and let it sit whilest I do something different. I then 'scrub' it in and rinse it off. Because it has little particles in there that exfoliate the skin. I love this because I can feel it working and the results are there. Perfect when I have a few spots.
After all that it is time to tone. I use two different ones on a regular base. Both are amazing, but I use both of them for different reasons. The first is the Sumblime Soft Micelle Solution by L'Oréal Paris. I absolutely love this stuff! If there is any dirt or something on my skin this will take it all off without making my skin dry. When I am in a hurry, this is the one I use for a quick makeup removing session.
The second one is the Essentials Cleansing Tonic by Garnier. This smells like roses, so if you don't like that smell you might want to skip this product, but I love it! I use this when I just want to tone my skin, it removes any leftover makeup but I don't use it for that. I really helps to keep breakouts away. So for me, I use this religiously around that time of the month. (little TMI for you right there.)
I just put some of the product on a cotton pad and wipe it over my skin.

After all those cleasing products it is time to moisturize. For a face moisturizer I am currenly using this Biocura Expertise 'Soin de Nuit'. I like this a lot, it's really affordable and it's rich enough for my dry skin. But this is the one product that I am not super excited about. I am still looking for a good affordable night moisturizer. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know in the comments!
Time for an eyecream! This is the Kruidvat own brand eyecream with Vitamin E. This is amazing. It doesn't sting my eyes, is really cheap and I feel like it really works.
Time for the final step. Lip moisturizing! I never forget this, because it is so important! If my lips are really dry I tend to go for the Nivea lipbutter. For normal moisturizing I just go for any baby lips by Maybelline because these are very hydrating but not overly, so they don't feel very heavy on the lips.
That's it! These are the products I use almost every night to remove all the dirt from my face.
Thank you so much for reading, I hope you found this helpful.
Love always
