Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Flawless Wear concealer | Review

Hello Glitterjunkies!

Do you ever really wanna buy fancy makeup? Like really fancy makeup, just because.
Well I had that urge the other day and obviously I had to give in to it.

And so I bought the Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Flawless Wear concealer.
Okay... first of all don't make me repeat that, because that is the longest freaking name ever.

As I have owned this for a little while now, I thought I'd tell you all my thoughts about this rather expensive concealer.

Without any makeup on my face. As you can see my dark circles aren't too bad but you can see some darkness under my eyes and quite some redness.

It looks like I literally photoshopped my right undereye area. This is in the colour 01 Light.

I looooove this concealer. It covers, brightens and makes my skin look allround perfect.
Also it is on the expensive side but a little goes such a long way, so in the end it's not a crazy amount of money.

I got mine at parfumswinkel.be for €21,12. If you buy this at an Estée Lauder counter or somewhere else you will probably pay between €25 and €30, just so you know.

Full face:
~ Essence All About Matt! oil free makeup in 10 Matt Beige
~ Essence Wild Craft eyebrow kit
~ Catrice clear eyebrow gel
~ Rimmel Scandal Eyes Retro Glam mascara
~ Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Flawless Wear concealer in 01 Light
~ Kiko bronzing powder in 104
~ Gosh Flower Power blush
~ Rimmel Stay Matte powder in 005 Silky Beige
~ Essence lipstick in Natural Beauty

I would definitely recommend this concealer as it doesn't crease on me and it covers my dark circles perfectly. I don't know if this would be an option for people with really bad dark circles or other issues underneath there eyes, but for people like me it is perfect!

What is your favourite concealer?

Love always

Sophie

Montagne Jeunesse face mask | Review

Hello Glitterjunkies!

So last week I was hanging out at my local drugstore (as you do..) looking for new amazing stuff, when I came across the face masks. I've never been a huge face mask user, it always gets messy and most of the time you need more than a minute or 10. But I was in the mood for a face mask and when I saw a sheetmask I had never used before I decided to give it a whirl.

I didn't plan to write about this face mask, so I don't have a lot of pictures. But I couldn't not write about it. Because it is terrible.

I'm talking about the Motagne Jeunesse Dead Sea Face Spa mask.

This is the one.

The back looks actually rather promising.
And at first it gave me an amazing glow (check my instagram, if you wanna see)

But...
The next photos are the results I got from this after one day... It ain't pretty!

(Excuse my eyebrows, I am in desperate need of a wax)

As you can see, I broke out on my chin and it caused a major dry skin alert.
I am absolutely not happy with this.

You can find the face mask here or at your local drugstore for about € 1,75.
Not that I'd recommend it...

Love always

Sophie

Lush Lemony Flutter | Review

Hello Glitterjunkies!

Today I'd like to share my thoughts with you on a product that is loved by many...

Lemony Flutter by Lush!
This is my first Lush product I've ever bought and I've been using it for some time now.

It is supposed to be a cuticle butter. But you can literally use it on every dry spot you have on your body.

Personally, I love the smell. It smells like lemons (as the name says), very citrus-y. :D
It is a very heavy smell at first, but fot those who don't like the smell there's hope!
It doesn't linger very long after you've applied it!

The texture is (unfortunately) very butter-like, which I wouldn't mind if it wasn't so darn greasy!
This is the reason why I only apply this on my cuticles, elbows and knees at night, right before I go to bed. Since those are my personal 'dry spots'.

But does it work?
YES! It works wonderfully! If you can put aside the fact that you can't touch anything after you've applied it, you'll love it! It has been working miracles on my elbows especially. You have to consistent though. Skip one night and you'll have to start all over again. But I can live with that.

The little pot you can see at the beginning of this post cost me €10.95
Not cheap, but a little goes a long way. So in the end it is worth it.
Lush is available online and in stores around the world.

My personal conclusion: I love it, perfect for those extra dry spots. I wouldn't recommend using it as a full bodymoisturizer though, because it feels like actual butter on the skin.

Love
Sophie
